In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Route 66, Oklahoma City’s Western Avenue will host a one-day car show on September 26, 2026. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. along the historic stretch of the original highway. Classic car owners, enthusiasts, local businesses, and visitors are invited to experience the spirit of the open road. The event is hosted in partnership with local organizers and aligned with the National Park Service’s Route 66 Corridor Preservation Program. It honors Oklahoma’s central role in Route 66’s history while boosting community pride and local tourism.
