Local Muscle, an Indianapolis-based car club, is hosting a free cruise and cookout at the Fireside Shelter in Johnson County Park in Nineveh, Ind., on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026.
Participants are invited to meet at The Nest (200 Byrd Way, Greenwood, Ind.) for a roughly 30-minute cruise to the shelter, or they may drive directly to the shelter at 7278 South Picnic Drive, Nineveh. The event is open to car club members and non-members alike.
Food – including burgers and hot dogs – will be provided. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish, dessert or beverages, and are encouraged to note what they plan to bring, the quantity and their headcount in the event’s discussion section so organizers can plan accordingly. Those who wish may also bring an additional meat to grill. Seating is limited; attendees should bring their own chairs. Small tents are permitted space allowing, and shade trees are on site. Music and cornhole will be available.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three vehicles as voted on by attendees. The event is free to attend.
