The Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant will host its 7th Annual Community Day and Car Show. The event is a fundraiser, with all proceeds donated to a local food bank. It features cars, trucks, motorcycles, semis, and tractors.
Registration for the car show costs $10, payable on the day of the event, and runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Judging takes place from 10 a.m. to noon. The first 300 registrants will receive dash plaques. More than 50 trophies will be awarded.
Spectator admission is free. The event includes hourly door prizes, raffle prizes, music by DJ Cruisin Zeake, food trucks, a nuclear control room simulator tour, and local craft vendors. Family activities include a petting zoo, carnival games with prizes, and inflatables. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant.
