The Denver Lions Club hosts its 37th annual Festival, “A Blast from the Past,” featuring a car, truck, and bike show on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. and runs until 10:45 a.m. Roads will be closed at 10:45 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. for a parade. Registration continues from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pre-registration is due by August 1, 2026, and costs $10, which includes a t-shirt. Registration day of the show is $12.
Awards will be presented at 3:00 p.m. Categories include Best of Show Car, Bike, and Truck; Best engine, paint, and interior; Under construction (50% primer); Rat Rods welcome; Long Distance and Club Participation; and Top 25 Cars, Top 7 Trucks, Top 3 Bikes. Cars from 2008 to 2025 will be judged separately. Music will play from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and a 50/50 drawing will be held.
The Lions Club, with the motto “Giving Sight to the World,” requests attendees bring used eyeglasses and hearing aids to be recycled and given to someone in need.
