Dirty South Camaros will host the Gulf Coast Invasion, a 294-mile cruise from Louisiana to Pensacola Beach, Florida, on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Participants from all chapters – New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Northshore – will meet at The Shrine on Airline in Metairie at 7 a.m., with ride-out at 8 a.m. sharp.
The convoy will travel east on Interstate 10, making two pit stops: Buc-ee’s in Pass Christian, Mississippi, at approximately 9:30 a.m., and Buc-ee’s in Robertsdale, Alabama, at approximately 11:45 a.m. The estimated arrival time at Pensacola Beach is 1 p.m. The total drive time is approximately four hours and 45 minutes, not including stops.
Participants must arrive on time for rollout, have a full tank of fuel before departure, and respect all traffic laws. Two-way radios are recommended. No late entry, burnouts, or reckless driving will be permitted. The event includes awards and recognition. Route highlights include scenic Gulf Coast views, photo opportunities, and beach vibes.
