Disabled American Veterans Chapter 105 in Monticello hosts its first annual Vet Salute fundraiser car show July 18 at Memorial Park. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with the show running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All makes, models and years are welcome. The $20 entry fee includes a dash plaque and goody bag for the first 50 entries. Multiple trophies and People’s Choice awards will be presented. The event features DJ music, food vendors and a bake sale.
