About This Event

The 23rd annual Party on the Pavement street festival takes place Saturday, Sept. 19, from noon to 7 p.m. in Downtown Racine. The event is presented by the Downtown Racine Corporation.

The festival spans over 12 blocks along Main Street from State Street to 7th Street and 6th Street from Lake Avenue to City Hall. Admission is free.

Entertainment includes the Division BMX Stunt Team performing at 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. on College Avenue and 6th Street. The Sweatshop Movement will present hip-hop and breakdance battles at Wisconsin Avenue and 6th Street. Activities include disc golf, axe throwing, a classic car show on Sam Johnson Parkway, and performances from Racine Gymnastics and the Senior Moments group.

A new Mini-German Fest on 6th and Park features live Bavarian music, bratwurst, pretzels, schnitzel, and German beers.

Live music will be performed on multiple stages throughout downtown, including blues, rock, jazz, and R&B. The Zeigler Honda of Racine Stage at Monument Square features Lake Effect at noon, Peacetree Allstars at 2:30 p.m., and Indigo Canyon at 5 p.m. The American Place Casino Stage at Main Street and State Street presents Shameless Place at 2:30 p.m. and Buzzerd at 5 p.m. The Indian Motorcycle of Racine Stage at 522 6th Street features an Elvis tribute by All The Kings Men at noon, Another Beginning at 3:30 p.m., and One Louder at 7 p.m.

Food vendors will offer international cuisine including Asian, Pakistani, Mexican, Italian, Cajun, and Greek options. Downtown restaurants will also participate.
