Duct Tape Drags

The Sixth Annual Duct Tape Drags takes over Firebird Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona, on October 16–17, 2026. Hosted by David Freiburger and Derek Bieri of Vice Grip Garage, this laid-back, low-buck drag racing celebration brings gearheads together for two full days of action-packed automotive entertainment.

Action on track features open test ‘n tune sessions, grudge drag racing, and the signature Battle of the Beaters low-buck race for beaters valued at $5,000 or less. Derek Bieri will also host and judge the Vice Grip Garage Burnout Competition for the trophy. In addition to the drag strip and burnout pit, attendees can enjoy the open car show for vintage and unique rides, evening social hour hangouts, and meet-and-greets with Freiburger and Bieri.

Spectator admission is $30 for a single day or $50 for a two-day pass, with children 12 and under admitted free with a paid adult. Vehicle entries include $85 for two-day car show parking, $95 for the burnout competition, and $125 for full drag racing or Battle of the Beaters participation. On-site dry camping options are available for both RV and tent campers.
