The second annual Eastside Legacy Cruise and Car Show returns to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Great Lakes Bay Region. The event begins at Hampton Plaza in Essexville, where registration opens for vehicles at $25 per car, with cash preferred. Participants will follow a police-escorted cruise route through Essexville and Bay City before arriving at the GM Powertrain facility for the car show portion.
The cruise route heads north on Pine Street, east on Borton, north on Knight Road, then west on Hampton Road, which becomes Woodside. The police escort concludes at the Water Street and Woodside intersection, with the Independence Bridge serving as a natural break point before vehicles park at the GM Powertrain property.
The car show will feature a loud exhaust contest and a trophy ceremony. Attendees can expect food trucks, games, prizes and merchandise on site. The event is open to all vehicle types.
