The Elchertown Lions Club will hold its 2nd Annual Memorial Car Show, Cruisin’ The Common-II, on August 9, 2025, with a rain date set for August 10. The event takes place at the Belchertown Town Common, 28 Park St., beginning at 9 a.m. when cruise cars enter the common.
Judging of the cars will continue until 1 p.m., followed by raffle drawings and awards. Twenty-five laser-engraved slate trophy plaques will be given to participants. Participant parking on the grass costs $20 without pre-registration. Spectators have free admission.
Food offerings include burgers, hot dogs, meatball grinders, fries, and canned soft drinks. A raffle table and a 50/50 raffle will be available during the event. All proceeds will support local charities such as Veteran’s Affairs, the Senior Center/Fuel Assistance, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, high school scholarships, and food pantries.
