Eldorado AMVETS Post 726 hosts a car and truck show dedicated to all military personnel and their families. Registration runs from 10 a.m. to noon for a $10 fee. No early setup is allowed. The judged show is open to the public and features more than 50 trophies for cars, trucks, best of show and additional categories. Awards presentation takes place at 4 p.m. The event includes a live DJ, 50/50 raffle, door prizes, AMVET dash plaques and food and drinks. Rain date is Saturday, Sept. 12.
