The Elk Rapids Harbor Days Car Show takes place Thursday, Aug. 6, in downtown Elk Rapids. Registration begins at 3 p.m., with the show starting at 4 p.m. Awards will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Categories include Best in Show, Best Modern (2000 or newer), Best Classic (1980-1999), Best Antique (1979 and older), Best Truck and Best Import. The event welcomes modern, classic, antique, trucks and imports. The show runs rain or shine. Fischer Insurance and Auto-Owners Insurance sponsor the event.
