Elk River American Legion Post 112 1st Annual Car Show & Sock Hop

The Elk River American Legion Post 112 hosts its 1st Annual Car Show & Sock Hop on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Elk River, Minnesota. The outdoor car show runs from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by an evening of dancing and entertainment at the indoor Sock Hop from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Vehicle registration is $10 per vehicle and is open to classic cars, custom builds, and motorcycles. Spectator admission to view the car show is completely free. Admission to the evening Sock Hop is $20 per person, or discounted to $10 for participants who register a vehicle.

Guests will enjoy live entertainment headlined by Elvis tribute artist Lee Dean, music, dancing, food trucks, cotton candy, popcorn, inflatables, a dunk tank, and prize raffles. All proceeds directly support The Elk River American Legion Post 112 and local veteran programs.
