Ellie’s Army Q3 Poker Run

Ellie’s Army hosts a poker run on Sept. 13 to support 7-year-old Ellie, who is undergoing treatment for brain cancer at Children’s Mercy in Kansas City. The 90-plus-mile route includes five stops across the Wichita area. Registration opens at 10 a.m. at Sgt C’s Leathers in Wichita. Single entry costs $20, double with passenger $25, and extra hands $10. The last bike departs at 11 a.m. and must return by 2:30 p.m. Stops include Oatville Elementary in Wichita, Mize’s Thriftway in Clearwater, Casey’s in Belle Plaine, Twisted Oz in Augusta, and Club Rodeo in Wichita. High hand wins $100, low hand $25. Raffles and a silent auction will be held. All vehicles welcome, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. All proceeds support Ellie’s family with medical bills and travel expenses.
