The Fairbank Rod & Gun Club hosts its 14th annual car show celebrating the United States 250th anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 1. Registration runs from 8 a.m. to noon with a $10 fee. Dash plaques will be given to the first 150 cars. Over 50 trophies will be awarded, including a special trophy for Best in Show. All classes will be judged by the club’s board of directors, with Ladies Choice judged by the directors’ wives. The event features a one-day hog roast all day and night, door prizes, tip boards and food. DJ Arnie Amber will provide entertainment, and the Frett Buzz Band performs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. WMBS Radio 590 AM will be present with a prize wheel.
