The FBC Labor Day Car Show will be held on Saturday, September 13th, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM in Downtown OWA. Cars of all makes and models will be displayed throughout the streets, featuring hot rods and custom builds from various decades. The event is free for spectators. Car owners can register online until the day of the show, with additional cars eligible to sign up in person on the day of the event.
The day’s schedule includes setup at 6:00 AM, registration starting at 6:30 AM near the Flagpole Entrance, and an opening ceremony at 9:00 AM across from Gulf Coast Rep. Judging will take place from 9:15 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by an awards ceremony at 2:00 PM, weather permitting. Trophies will be awarded in multiple categories such as Pastor’s Choice, OWA Choice, Best of Show, Best Antique, and Rat Rod.
Food vendors will include Jon Smith Subs, serving breakfast sandwiches and beverages from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, and Waffles R Wild, offering breakfast sandwiches and coffee from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and fries from 11:00 AM onwards.
