About This Event
The For the Love of Veterans Auto Show runs from noon to 4 p.m. at Forney Community Park, 241 South FM 548 in Forney, Texas. Spectators attend free; auto show entries cost $25. The Sharing the Love Foundation hosts the show, and proceeds support the Young Ambassador’s Scholarship Fund.
The show traces its history to Forney Turkey Trax, which began in 2007 to unite the community and honor veterans. Vehicles compete for Best in Show, first and second place in various categories, and a Club Award. The lineup spans vintage, classic and muscle cars along with Mustangs, Corvettes, low-riders, custom bikes and motorcycles.
Food trucks and a silent auction are part of the afternoon. Patriotic decor across the grounds pays tribute to veterans and active-duty military members, and attendees are invited to wear military pride or a patriotic look. The event is held rain or shine and is supported by the City of Forney.
Vehicle owners and vendors can register through the foundation’s website at sharingthelove.org.
