Fords at the Shore, Broadway at the Beach, and the City of Myrtle Beach are collaborating on a proposed trial cruise event along Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, as part of the broader Fords at the Shore 2026 gathering scheduled for September 5-13.
The proposed route begins at the Dave & Buster’s parking area at Broadway at the Beach, with a police-escorted cruise departing south on 29th Avenue North, turning onto Ocean Boulevard, passing the SkyWheel and the oceanfront district, continuing south, then returning via Kings Highway and 29th Avenue North back to Broadway at the Beach.
All Ford and Ford-associated vehicles are welcome, including models under the Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Edsel, Merkur, Frontenac, Meteor, and Monarch nameplates, as well as classics, customs, modern vehicles, trucks, Broncos, Mustangs, and street rods. Participants are encouraged to enjoy the restaurants, shops, and attractions at Broadway at the Beach following the cruise.
Organizers are soliciting public feedback to gauge participation levels and finalize plans with local partners. The event is open to families.
