The “Forest of Fear” Halloween event will take place over two weekends on Saturday, October 18 and Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Loyd Park at Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie, Texas. Visitors can attend either or both nights. The event features a haunted disco called “Studio 666” at campsite 155, near the main parking lot. Hundreds of decorated campsites and kid-friendly activities will be available, including a drive through the “Forest of Fear” with tricks and treats along the way. Costumes are optional. The park entry fee is $20 per car. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 6 p.m. to avoid lines.
