Fort Klock Historic Restoration will host Cars at the Fort – In Memory of Bill Murphy on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the National Historic Landmark located at 7203 State Highway 5 in St. Johnsville, N.Y. The rain date is Sunday, July 19, 2026.
The show welcomes cars and trucks of all makes, models and eras. Day-of registration opens at 10:00 a.m. with a $15 entry fee collected on-site. Organizers note that no pre-registration or advance payments are accepted. The first 50 registered entries will receive a handmade horseshoe nail ring stamped with the Fort Klock mark and forged on-site by Fort Klock blacksmiths.
Awards include Top 20 trophies and a Best in Show award, all handcrafted by Fort Klock’s own blacksmiths. Judging is conducted by Fort Klock members.
Activities throughout the day include guided tours of the fortified homestead for a nominal fee, traditional baking in a beehive oven, live blacksmithing demonstrations, cannon firings, craft vendors, live music and raffles. Food will be provided by Hilltown Pool Service.
