The Freakneek Cold Edition Car, Truck, and Bike Show takes place Saturday, Aug. 29 at Southampton County Fairgrounds in Courtland. Gates open at 1 p.m. with super tight security.
Car showcase entry is $20. Judging begins at 6 p.m. The bass off starts at 1 p.m. with judging ending at 6 p.m. Bass contest entry is $25 for two runs.
The event features a $1,000 official twerk contest, trophies for car winners, food trucks, vendors and entertainment. A mechanical bull returns. Attendees should bring tents and chairs. DJ Joe Pro hosts. Water guns and other activities are available.
