Friday Night Lights takes place August 28th at Elko Speedway in Elko New Market, Minnesota. Gates open at 3 p.m., with the Gold Lot opening at noon. The event features a burnout pit, live dyno, late night light show, vendors, food and drinks. Twenty awards will be presented at 8 p.m., including Best of Show, Top 15 (voted by attendees), Best Smoke Show, Highest HP, Best Lighting, Best Video and Host Choice (voted by organizers). Gold Lot parking costs $40 and requires pre-approval at the gate. Silver Lot parking costs $20 on a first-come, first-served basis. Spectator parking is available on the south side of the speedway. The event welcomes trucks, cars and all vehicle types.
