The Fuel the Music 1st Annual Car Show, Chili Cook-Off, Swap Meet, and Food Wars will be held on October 11, 2025, at the Pope County Fairgrounds in Russellville, Arkansas. The event benefits the Pottsville Apache Band and offers free admission for spectators.
Gates open at 8:00 AM for set-up. The car show features 12 trophy categories for cars, jeeps, trucks, and bikes, with voting ending at noon. Winners are announced once votes are tallied. A 50/50 raffle drawing takes place at 2:00 PM, and live music will be provided by Rockey Don.
The chili cook-off and salsa and guacamole contests run from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with tasting packets available for $5. Winners for each contest will be announced after voting. The swap meet and craft fair allow attendees to buy, sell, trade, and swap items, with set-up beginning at 8:00 AM.
Registration fees are $20 for pre-registered car show, swap meet, or chili cook-off entrants, or $25 at the door, and $10 for the salsa or guacamole contest. Additional details and registration are available at the event website. Proceeds support the Pottsville Apache Band.
