The Garrison Emergency Services hosts its 18th annual Show & Shine Car & Tractor Show on Main Street in Garrison, Iowa. Registration begins at 11 a.m., with the show running from noon to 4 p.m. Entry fee is $15. Trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m. to eight car category winners and two tractor category winners. The first 50 registrants receive dash plaques, and the Best of Show winner will be featured on the 2027 dash plaque. Tractors are welcome and register in their own category. The event includes music, food and drinks. Other activities that day include a craft show, 5K run, softball tournament and bounce houses. A Saturday BBQ dinner and street dance takes place at Hitchin’ Post from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a free will donation. The band OUTLAW, formerly 8 Seconds, performs from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Proceeds benefit Garrison Emergency Services. The event is sponsored by Ottsen Oil Company.
