Gas, Gears & Good Times Promo Tour – FINAL STOP Car Show in Tawas! The engines are rolling into the Tawas area for the FINAL stop of the 16th Annual Gas, Gears & Good Times Promo Tour with Back to the Bricks®! Join us Tuesday, June 9 in beautiful Downtown East Tawas as classic cars, hot rods, and automotive enthusiasts gather for an afternoon of chrome, music, and lakeshore fun! This is the last stop of the tour, and we’re celebrating in style with a downtown car show, live music in the park, dinner, and awards to close out an incredible journey across Michigan. Location Downtown East Tawas – Newman Street Event Schedule 9:00 – 10:00 AM: Promo Tour departs Gaylord 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Promo Tour vehicles arrive and get placed for the Downtown Car Show first. (Drivers and visitors can enjoy lunch at the many great restaurants and cafés throughout downtown Tawas!) 1:00 PM: Car Show Begins on Newman Street 5:00 PM: Car Show concludes, check into hotels!!! 5:30 PM: Downtown streets reopen THE FUN CONTINUES FOR THE PROMO TOUR!!!!! 6:00 – 9:00 PM: Live Band at Shoreline Park for classic cars and Promo Tour Participants 6:30 – 8:00 PM: Dinner in the Park Provided by the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce (Menu includes chicken, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, salad, and more!) 8:30 PM: Long Hauler Awards Presentation Hosted by Back to the Bricks organizers Keep the Fun Going After the Show! After the band wraps up, the night doesn’t have to end: Tawas Axe & Lanes (right across from the park) will be open with: • Bowling • Axe Throwing • Rooftop Bar • Possible Karaoke Late Night! Parking & Location Info: There will be plenty of parking available at Shoreline Park, with additional parking across the street if needed. The park, downtown, and hotels are all within close proximity, making it easy for drivers and visitors to enjoy the entire evening. Bring the family, grab dinner, listen to great music, and check out some incredible vehicles as we celebrate the final stop of the Gas, Gears & Good Times Promo Tour!
