The Genoa-Harmony Volunteer Fire Department hosts its first annual Chicken Q and Car Show on Saturday, August 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Genoa Park. All years of cars and trucks are welcome. Entry is $5 per vehicle, with an award for the number one people’s choice. The chicken dinner includes half a chicken, baked beans, macaroni salad and a roll for a suggested donation of $15 per meal. Seating is available, and free water and coffee will be provided. Proceeds benefit the Genoa-Harmony Volunteer Fire Department.
