The Grayslake Rotary Club hosts its fifth annual Cruisin’ on Center car show in downtown Grayslake on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event features 50 trophies across 18 classes, including modern cars, customs and stocks from the 1930s through 2000s, trucks, motorcycles, low riders, imports and tuners, exotics and supercars, and Jeeps and 4x4s. Pre-registration costs $20 through Aug. 21, with day-of registration available from 8 to 11 a.m. for $20. The first 160 registered vehicles receive dash plaques. Live music will be provided by Lakes Area Swing Band and Slam Funk. Raffles will be held throughout the day. Proceeds benefit Grayslake Shop with a Cop, high school and CLC scholarships, and local food banks. Event sponsors include Chitown Exotic, Fox Recovery & Towing, A-Tire, and County Service.
