The Slot Car Raceway and Hobby Shop in Gifford, Florida, will host H.O. Slot Car Races at 1732 94th Dr., Suite G-160, Vero Beach, FL 32966. Doors open at 10:00 am for open practice. The race format features a 4-minute round-robin rotation. Classes include IROC (cars provided), Box Stock Car (hard-shell body, slip-on silicone tires), Spec Racer Car (C4 magnets, Lexan bodies, slip-on silicone tires), and Ceramic Super Stock (Lexan bodies, ceramic motor and traction magnets). There is a 30-minute open practice before each class. Entry fees are $10 per class. A $10 day pit pass covers all four classes, while racing fewer than four classes requires a $5 pit pass. Classes may change depending on racer participation, and pre-tech inspection will take place for all cars.
