About This Event
Hardcore Concepts presents its Underground Auto Show on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 4 to 10 p.m. at Central Campus Parking Garage in downtown Des Moines. Vehicle entry costs $20; spectators attend free.
The show awards first and second place trophies in each class. Categories include Best Wheels, Best Paint, Best Domestic, Best Import, Best Shitbox, Best Mud Monster, Best Truck, Best Motorcycle, Best Lady Driven and Best Engine Bay. Vehicles may win multiple trophies. All years, makes and models are welcome.
Activities include all-day raffles, a car limbo contest, a Mario Kart: Double Dash tournament on Nintendo GameCube, and an RC drift track. The event runs rain or shine. Food trucks will be on site. Models will appear throughout the day.
The venue is located at 1800 Grand Ave, Des Moines, IA 50309 in the south side parking lot and parking garage.
