Harvest Fest

Foundation Christian Academy hosts Harvest Fest, its main athletic fundraiser, on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3955 Lithia Pinecrest Rd. in Valrico, Florida. Proceeds support the school’s student athletes.

The event includes a car show and a vendor market with more than 20 local vendors selling sourdough, Madagascar vanilla, crochet pieces, jewelry and more, plus custom scent creation by Magnolia Soap and permanent jewelry by Enchanted Links. A chili cook-off invites attendees to taste and vote for a favorite entry.

Ronnie Ron’s BBQ serves lunch, with nachos, sweet tea and lemonade also available. A silent auction, raffles and a 50/50 drawing round out the fundraising.

Family activities include inflatables, a mechanical bull, and kids’ fall games such as Pumpkin Putt-Putt, Scarecrow Toss, Foam Axe Throw, crafts and fall tattoos. A new Prize Tent lets children trade gold coins for prizes, and Christine Lee Photography offers photo moments near the toddler play area.

Admission wristbands are required for ages 2 and up. Each wristband includes chili cook-off votes, game tickets, and access to the market, silent auction and toddler area. Wristbands and tickets are sold at admissions. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
