The Driftless Revelers and the Wet Stetsons perform at the Heckrodt Prairie Hootenanny on September 12 from noon to 3 p.m. at Heckrodt Wetland Reserve in Menasha.
The Driftless Revelers are an Eau Claire-based string band featuring scrappy freak-folk with original songs that both revere and poke fun at Wisconsin culture. The band formed in 2020 and has toured extensively throughout the upper Midwest and West Coast, performing with Grammy and IBMA winning bluegrass legends including Tim O’Brien, the Gibson Brothers, and Larry Stephenson. Their live shows feature plectral wah pedal banjo, resophonic steel guitars, and upright bass.
The Wet Stetsons are a four-piece string band from Eau Claire playing folk, jamgrass, and country music with original tunes and covers.
