About This Event
Hello Yellow! Car Club hosts The Great Yellow Takeover: Gathering the Sunshine on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Stolley Park in Grand Island. Roll-in begins at 11:30 a.m., with the event running from noon to 2:30 p.m.
The meet welcomes show cars, motorcycles, work trucks, and daily drivers – all painted yellow. Nine custom club awards will be presented, including The Sunburst, 24K Custom, and The Bumblebee, determined by driver vote. All participants will gather for a group photo at 1:45 p.m.
Featured guests include the Hastings Rural Volunteer Fire Department, which will display its high-visibility yellow fire apparatus. Food vendors Tacos La Bendici�n and The Snow GI will serve tacos and shaved ice throughout the event.
