The Hispanic Police Officers Association of Michigan presents a car show Aug. 22 from noon to 5 p.m. at Mexican Village Restaurant, 2600 Bagley St., Detroit. The event welcomes all makes and models with a $20 donation admission. Activities include prizes and giveaways, a taco eating competition, music, and opportunities to meet community leaders.
