The 78th Annual Holloway Old Timers Festival hosts a car, truck and bike show Saturday, Sept. 5 from noon to 4 p.m. at the baseball field behind Old Timers. Registration begins at 11 a.m. Judging takes place at 3 p.m., with trophies awarded at 3:45 p.m. Dash plaques will be given to the first 50 entries. Participants are invited to cruise through town in the Holloway VFD and Old Timers parade following the car show at 5 p.m. The weekend festival includes an 1800s baseball game Friday at 5 p.m., fire department water battles after Saturday’s parade, and garden tractor pulls Sunday sponsored by the Harrison County Lil Hustlers. A Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle and vendor flea market run all weekend. Food is available at the Old Timers building.
