The Relay for Life Car Show takes place Saturday, Aug. 1, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Jackson River Sports Complex in Covington. Entry fee is $20. U.B.U. The Band performs from 6 to 10 p.m. An opening ceremony begins at 6 p.m., followed by a luminary ceremony at 9 p.m. Engines may not run from 6 to 6:30 p.m. and 9 to 10 p.m. during ceremonies. No alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or tobacco products are allowed on the property. No loud speakers are permitted during the show. Sale of merchandise is prohibited except by registered vendors.
