The Hot Rods for Hospice event takes place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Newark Firemans Field on Westshore Blvd in Newark. Registration for the car show starts at 9:00 AM with a $20 entry fee per vehicle. The first 50 entrants receive dash plaques. Awards will be given at 1:30 PM for Best Classic/Muscle Car, Best Truck, Best Foreign Vehicle, Best Motorcycle, and Best of Show. Chicken BBQ is available, with pre-sale tickets at Bodine’s and the Newark Farmers Market up to the day of the event. Walk-ins are welcome, with options to eat in or take out. Proceeds support Laurel House Comfort Care Home.
