Howl-O-Ween Paw-Ty With A Purpose

The Volksair 3 Volkswagen Club hosts a Halloween morning event for dogs, families and the community at Space Monkey in Edinburg. The gathering runs 8 a.m. to noon and combines a dog costume contest, trunk-or-treat, a dog photo booth and a haunted arcade hall with an all-makes car show.

The car show presents Audience Favorite, Best Interior and Best Overall awards, with further details to be announced. Costume contest prizes go to the most creative, funniest and scariest dog entries. An indoor mini market features vendors, treats and raffles, and dog treat vendors can reserve a booth for $35.

All proceeds benefit the Franklin All Animal Rescue Team, supporting food, medical care and placement for rescue dogs. Spectators attend free, and leashed dogs are welcome.
