The Hurley Fire Department hosts its 19th annual cruise night and burnout contest Friday, July 24, in Hurley. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. and features live music by Tony’s Tunz. A burnout contest requires pre-registration; interested participants should call Darrell at 605-941-0866 for information. The evening includes a People’s Choice Award for the crowd’s favorite car. Food is available at the beer tent and Hurley Bar. Pre-order shirts, koozies, prizes and freebies will be available. The beer tent is sponsored by local businesses.
