On May 16, I AM Worship Church in Cookeville will host a biannual car show to raise funds for the youth group’s camp costs. The show runs from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM at 4483 Cookeville Highway; attendees can register beginning at 10:30 AM. Entry is $20, and trophies will be presented at 1:30 PM.
Vehicles will be shown in multiple divisions including Vintage (1969 & below), Classic (1970–1999), Modern (2000–current), Trucks (1986 & below and 1987 & up), Import (all years), Rat Rod (all years), Motorcycle (all years), and Jeep (all years). Awards will include first, second, and third place in each division along with Pastor’s Choice, Best of Show, Best Paint, and People’s Choice, with unique trophies again this year. A youth-run concessions stand will offer a hot dog or hamburger with chips and a drink for $10. The event is family-oriented and encourages community attendance to support the youth group, meet the new judges, and enjoy cars, food, and fellowship.
