The South Portland Historical Society will host its 18th annual Independence Day Classic Car Show, presented by Yankee Ford, at Bug Light Park in South Portland, Maine on July 4.
Vintage and classic cars will be on display on the lawn across from the museum. Owners of classic or antique vehicles who wish to participate may call 767-7299 for more information.
The Nor’Easters Kite Club will be on hand with patriotic-themed kites. A reading of the Declaration of Independence will take place from the front porch of the museum.
The Summer in Maine Auction will also be featured, offering a variety of items themed around summertime activities in Maine. Food trucks will be on site, and kites, kite wands for young children, and event T-shirts will be available for purchase.
The event offers views of Casco Bay.
