The Jersey Region Pontiac-Oakland Club of America hosts its 50th annual Motorama car show Sunday, July 26, at 515 High Mountain Road in North Haledon. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is dedicated to the memory of member Dom Speronza.
This year’s show features Pontiac-Oakland vehicles, with all 1926-2001 Pontiacs parking together and competing for their own trophies and special awards. The show is open to all year cars and trucks and takes place on grass.
Over 50 trophies will be awarded. Spectators and participants can win free prizes, with a grand prize of a 50-inch flat screen TV. Dash plaques go to the first 150 vehicles to arrive. The show field closes at noon or when full.
Vehicle registration is $25. Spectator donation is $5. The event celebrates the 50th year of the car show, the 100th year of Pontiac, and the 250th anniversary of the United States.
