The Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the John Monteleone Memorial Classic Car Show on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the Lapeer County Courthouse parking lot at 255 Clay Street. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as part of the 40th Annual Lapeer Days Festival.
Pre-registration costs $10 by August 14 or $12 at the gate. Registration takes place from 9 a.m. to noon. The event features oldies music by Young’s Entertainment and raises funds for Lapeer Days 2026.
Dash plaques go to the first 100 cars. Trophies will be awarded to the top 10 cars, with specialty trophies for Meijer’s Choice, Mayor’s Choice, Chamber’s Choice and Best of Show. Door prizes and 50/50 raffles are available.
