The Kalamazoo Antique Auto Restorers Club (KAARC) presents the 2026 Red Barns Spectacular, a two-day automotive event held July 31 and Aug. 1 at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Mich. Organizers expect up to 1,200 vehicles, 300 vendor spaces and 4,000 spectators.
The swap meet runs both days beginning July 31. Show cars and spectators are admitted Aug. 1. The event features a Drivers Choice Show and a KAARC Judged Show, with an 11 a.m. registration cutoff for judged entries. First 500 show car entrants receive a goodie bag with 30 items. Fifteen half-hour Car Talks presentations and tours are led by automotive experts. All museum buildings will be open.
Additional attractions include a Vintage Camper Show, WMU Solar and SAE vehicles, a slot car track, an outdoor RC racing track, kids bingo cards redeemable for free custard, model car building for children, and kids dragsters from Martin 131 Speedway.
Pre-registration for the Drivers Choice Show is $20; $25 at the gate. The KAARC Judged Show is $25 to pre-register; $30 at the gate. Vendor spaces are $40 in advance; $50 the day of the event. Cars for sale may be displayed at no charge. Pre-registrants save $5 on show car entry fees. More information is available at KAARC.org.
