The Kent Island Jeep Club and Kent Island Cruisers will host the Go Purple for “Not My Child” Car Show and Poker Run at Kent Island Elks #2576, 2525 Romancoke Road, Stevensville, Maryland, on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025. The event will take place rain or shine.
Drivers should arrive between 7:15 and 7:30 a.m. to check in and receive shirts and goodie bags. Donuts and coffee will be available. The Poker Run will depart promptly at 7:45 a.m. from the Elks, with stops to be determined. Participants are expected to return between 10:15 and 10:45 a.m., when Poker Run and Spirit winners, including decorated vehicles carrying purple swag for “Not My Child,” will be announced, followed by driver raffles.
The car show will begin at 11 a.m., running concurrently with raffles, a 50/50 drawing, music, free rock painting, face painting, and food sales by the Elks until 2 p.m. Raffle winners of gift baskets and car show trophies will be announced between 1:30 and 2 p.m. at the closing ceremony, during which a donation will be presented to charity.
