Knoxville Dragway hosts the Kidney Foundation Drag Fest & Show, featuring bracket drag racing and a VW car show. Gates open at 8 a.m. Saturday. A live band performs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event includes a hot track for VWs, food and drinks, vendors and a photobooth. Camping and test-and-tune sessions are available Friday, Aug. 14.
Gate fee is $20. Car show registration is $10. Bracket racing entry is $20. Buy-backs cost $10. Vendor fee is $30. Camping is $35. Children 12 and under enter free.
