Kingston Cravinz Jamaican Kitchen hosts a summer car and truck show featuring tropical colors and Caribbean vibes. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 4808 Pontchartrain Drive in Slidell.
A live DJ performs throughout the day. Jamaican food and drinks will be available. The family-friendly event includes photo opportunities and giveaways.
Multiple trophies will be awarded across car, truck, Jeep and sound competition categories. Car awards include Best in Show, Best Classic Car, Best Muscle Car, Best Import, Best Mopar, Best Luxury Car, Best Paint Job, Best Interior, Best Engine Bay, Best Sound System, Lowest Ride, Crowd Favorite and Best Female Build. Truck categories feature Best Lifted Truck, Best Squatted Truck, Best Dually, Best Off-Road Build, Best Sound System Truck, Best Paint on Truck, Best Interior Truck and Crowd Favorite Truck. Jeep awards include Best Jeep Build, Best Lifted Jeep, Best Off-Road Jeep, Best Jeep Paint, Best Jeep Sound System, Crowd Favorite Jeep and Best Female Jeep Build. Sound competition awards go to Best Sound Competition, Loudest System and Hardest Hitting Bass.
