The Krystal Klaus Pools Summer Fun Run Ride for Life celebrates its 20th anniversary with a car and bike show at Harry Sbanotto Park in Tontitown. Registration runs from 8 to 11 a.m., with judging from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and awards at 3 p.m. A pancake breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 10 a.m.
The show features 40 classes with place awards per class, including separate categories for original and modified vehicles. Car classes span 1949-older through 2015-newer, while truck classes range from 1949-older to 2001-newer. Motorcycle categories include American, British, European and Asian street bikes, plus sport bikes, custom bobbers and enduro bikes. Additional classes cover rat rods, Jeeps, imports, race cars and special interest vehicles.
Special awards will be presented for participant’s choice, club participation, best engine, interior and paint, plus best in show for car, truck and motorcycle. Proceeds benefit Tontitown.
A Friday night kick-off party and cruise-in takes place at Red Door Bar & Grill on Pozza Lane, featuring food trucks, vendors, live and silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle and live music at 7 p.m. For more information, visit facebook.com/sumfunrun or email [email protected].
