La Vista will host its End of Summer Celebration on Friday, Aug. 14, from 5 to 10 p.m. at Southport West in the Cabela’s north parking lot at 12703 Westport Pkwy. The free event features live music from opener Cover Me Badd and headliner Whiskey River, a car meet-up with no registration required, a beer garden and food trucks offering local options. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends, family and lawn chairs.
