Labor Day at the Post returns to Barnhardt Circle in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, with free admission to a full day of activities running from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
A car show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring rows of vintage vehicles and their owners. The event is presented by the City of Fort Oglethorpe and US 101.
Live music fills two stages from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Country artists Lauren Alaina and Mark Wills headline, with Lauren Alaina performing at 7:30 p.m. and Mark Wills at 6 p.m. Special guest The Singing Barber, Noah Peters, performs at 5 p.m. The Barnhardt Stages feature Remembering January (4 p.m.), Hiwassee Bend (3 p.m.), Shelby Mosteller (2 p.m.), and James Rogers (1 p.m.).
Food trucks operate from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and a local market with artisan and small-business vendors runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A free Kids Zone with inflatables and activities, along with a petting zoo, is available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
