Oyster Bed Speedway in Oyster Bed Bridge, Prince Edward Island, hosts its annual Labour Day Stock Car Races and Demolition Derby on Monday, Sept. 7. A&S Scrap Metals presents the racing card, which features seven classes competing for checkered flags and championship points, including Tim’s Corner Motorsports Bandolero Road Trip September Shootout (two 25-lap Outlaw Bandolero features), Reliable Motors Beginner Bandoleros, Alvin’s Auto Sales and Repair Bombers, Chris’s Bobcat Services Mini Stocks, Moore Well Drilling Outlaws (Hondas), Clam Diggers Clash Racing Series Legends (30-lap, $300-to-win Championship Day feature), and Fitzpatrick Consulting Street Stocks.
TMC Auto Wreckers presents the Labour Day Demolition Derby, a last-car-standing infield event with $1,000 on the line. Racing begins at 2:00 p.m., with ticket booths and gates opening at a time to be announced. Practices are also TBA.
Admission is $20 for adults 16 and older, $10 for youth ages 8-15, and free for children 7 and under. Pit passes are $25 and require attendees to be at least 8 years old and have a completed electronic insurance waiver, available in advance at os.speedwaiver.com. No advance tickets are sold; all tickets are available at the gate on race day.
